Sibley and Default Logic.
Sibley is a particularist about the base-level aesthetic judgments and a generlist about the overall aesthetic veridical judments. John Bender (1995) already told us that this is the right way to understand Sibley. I don't understand why the issue re-occurs as to how we should understand Sibley.
Furthermore, maybe there are good reasons to think that the generalism-particularism debate about the aesthetic is pointless. Maybe we should take the Gricean approach like Levinson did.
